The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Javier Perrando showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Mojigasta FC's goal looked a bit too open when German Lauro came free, but Pedro Pero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Perrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Florian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florencio Florian in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Perrando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Mojigasta FC defense, German Lauro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Pero. The Mojigasta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Pero should have stopped the shot. German Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Pero having to interfere. After the first half Reñico were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Florian was the one to do the kick off. German Lauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rigoberto Isaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Florian charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florencio Florian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Lauro in the 62nd minute of play forced Mojigasta FC's goalkeeper Pedro Pero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cipriano Maria during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 67 played minutes Mojigasta FC got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Maria. Nestor Domeka hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the game, German Lauro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Pedro Pero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Pedro Pero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 86th match minute, Mojigasta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Domeka to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Domeka's late challenge caught a Reñico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nestor Domeka helped the player get up and apologised. Reñico's German Lauro was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 95th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The Mojigasta FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Reñico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
