Mario Haitz struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Sergio Rojelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anchorena. A collision led to Villa Gesell FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Abel Eguen hit a great ball. Bernabe Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Gesell FC's zone, Bernabe Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Rojelio came out of the goal and Bernabe Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arsenio Lon's late challenge caught a Anchorena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arsenio Lon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Arsenio Lon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergio Rojelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Haitz in the 39th minute of the match. Bernabe Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Haitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Rojelio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mario Haitz ran back to his position shaking his head. 47 minutes into the game, Anchorena's Bernabe Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sergio Rojelio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Villa Gesell FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Anchorena were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arsenio Lon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Lon in the 62nd minute of play forced Anchorena's goalkeeper Angel Fortun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Rojelio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mario Haitz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 67 minute of play. Sergio Rojelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Azevedo in the 72nd minute of the match. Sergio Rojelio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bernabe Azevedo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 76 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Arsenio Lon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Gesell FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsenio Lon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
