Spectators: 7339 (Terracing: 5506, Seating: 1688, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Raul Suero kicked off to start the match. In the 9th minute, Andres Hegoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaston Ariando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Melquiades Charro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Raul Suero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carolo Ekialde. Raul Suero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Carolo Ekialde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Suero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SANTO DOMINGO FC's Carolo Ekialde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save SANTO DOMINGO FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, SANTO DOMINGO FC's Evaristo Mergildo got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 33rd match minute, SANTO DOMINGO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Hitz to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Charro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Cordearo went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Narciso Ariando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Carolo Ekialde made a huge save. Narciso Ariando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carolo Ekialde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. SANTO DOMINGO FC's Carolo Ekialde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Suero in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ciro Cordearo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Melquiades Charro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melquiades Charro made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Gaston Ariando sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Melquiades Charro managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when SANTO DOMINGO FC's Ciro Cordearo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 55th minute, Celedonio Hunfredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Fermin Hitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciro Cordearo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melquiades Charro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Cordearo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Fermin Hitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When SANTO DOMINGO FC's Ciro Cordearo in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 75th minute Raul Suero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Ekialde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carolo Ekialde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Suero in the 76th minute of the match. SANTO DOMINGO FC's Carolo Ekialde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Ariando in the 77th minute of play. tigres's Fernan Vedillo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carolo Ekialde in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 83rd minute, SANTO DOMINGO FC's Fermin Hitz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melquiades Charro. Melquiades Charro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Andres Hegoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in tigres's zone, Ciro Cordearo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Charro came out of the goal and Ciro Cordearo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Saverio Joachim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The tigres fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SANTO DOMINGO FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
