In the 48th minute of the match, Sixto Cresconio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Angel Fortun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernabe Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. Wilfredo Meder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernabe Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Mario Haitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Mancio in the 62nd minute of play forced Anchorena's goalkeeper Angel Fortun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angel Fortun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Cresconio, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the Anchorena defense, Jonatan Mancio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angel Fortun. The Anchorena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel Fortun should have stopped the shot. club rosarino's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
