Conrado Romano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Fausto Mouricio made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hipolito Odilon to strike the kick off in the second half. When Isidro Oto fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pismanta AFC's protests and gave Isidro Oto a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hipolito Odilon in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Mouricio saved Pismanta AFC from getting behind. The supporters of Retrogrados F.C booed when Pismanta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Cisco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Pismanta AFC defense, Hipolito Odilon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Mouricio. Retrogrados F.C's Conrado Romano got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 81 played minutes, Retrogrados F.C's Osvaldo Abeitia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fausto Mouricio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Retrogrados F.C reached it. Hipolito Odilon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Fausto Mouricio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Mouricio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Romano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Pismanta AFC's Isidro Oto got a free kick in the 84th minute. There was no doubt that Retrogrados F.C were the better team. Retrogrados F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
