Everardo Papo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 6th match minute, El Retorno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Miliano to maneuver through the defense. Everardo Papo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Silban in the 10th minute of the match. Lázaro Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Everardo Papo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Narciso Sabin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Everardo Papo. El Retorno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narciso Sabin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sixto Urtun charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sixto Urtun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to El Retorno getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Sixto Urtun hit a great ball. After 20 played minutes, Bahía Roji-Blanca's Abel Ceandro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Everardo Papo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bahía Roji-Blanca reached it. Feliberto Manex hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Everardo Papo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Sabin, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Everardo Papo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narciso Sabin went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Retorno's goalkeeper Everardo Papo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacobo Bento hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the El Retorno defense, Narciso Sabin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Everardo Papo. The El Retorno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Papo should have stopped the shot. After 44 played minutes El Retorno got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Manex.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso Montrell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Omar Miliano got his second yellow card in the match during the 52nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Omar Miliano hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Through a series of nice moves, Bahía Roji-Blanca's Eliseo Joey on his own came free in the 60th minute of the match and shot 0-5 behind a disappointed Everardo Papo. Honorato Eneto kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to El Retorno getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jacobo Bento hit a great ball. Everardo Papo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Koldo in the 67th minute of the match. Everardo Papo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Batista in the 73rd minute of play forced El Retorno's goalkeeper Everardo Papo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Mon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Everardo Papo made a huge save. In the 79th minute, Bahía Roji-Blanca's Narciso Sabin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Silban in the 86th minute of play forced El Retorno's goalkeeper Everardo Papo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ambrosio Cordara managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Retorno's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Cordara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anibal Buinton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, El Retorno's goalkeeper Everardo Papo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeledon Silban. 96 minutes into the game, Eliseo Joey recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Everardo Papo. Eliseo Joey showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Bahía Roji-Blanca played a much better game than El Retorno and deserved their victory. The El Retorno players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
