When Martin Benat fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argentinos Jrs's protests and gave Martin Benat a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Centro Juventud Antoniana booed when Argentinos Jrs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Benat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Faustino Kimetz made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Joseph. Argentinos Jrs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Oscar Naike dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Honorio Pio, 2-1. Honorio Pio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramiro Tiniebra in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Efrain Ponce notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Argentinos Jrs's Paulo Joseph. Paulo Joseph was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulo Joseph made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Kimetz in the 32nd minute of play. If Efrain Ponce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Efrain Ponce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Joseph having to interfere. Argentinos Jrs's Paulo Joseph played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Kimetz in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Faustino Kimetz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Centro Juventud Antoniana's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Kimetz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Joseph breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Benigno Kimetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Joseph took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Ponce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

In the 54th minute, Benigno Kimetz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argentinos Jrs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Ramiro Tiniebra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Pio having to interfere. When Ariel Gartzi fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argentinos Jrs's protests and gave Ariel Gartzi a yellow card for diving instead. 60 minutes into the game, one of Argentinos Jrs:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With 65 minutes on the clock, Teobaldo Arnalt commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 79th minute, Oscar Naike ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Honorio Pio was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro Tiniebra in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorio Pio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 92 minutes into the match, Argentinos Jrs's Oscar Naike sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorio Pio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Centro Juventud Antoniana's Efrain Ponce got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efrain Ponce got free with Paulo Joseph in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Ramiro Tiniebra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argentinos Jrs's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Tiniebra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorio Pio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honorio Pio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Tiniebra, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute. Efrain Ponce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 102nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Argentinos Jrs fans cheered their team off the field, for while Centro Juventud Antoniana had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
