El Famoso RIFLE's Alfonso Maju got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Arturo Gonsalve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Famoso RIFLE's Generoso Nikola suffered a sprained foot after 8 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Aquilino Libertad fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. La Tenes Adentro's protests and gave Aquilino Libertad a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes F.C. La Tenes Adentro got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Libertad. Santos Francesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Guipuzkoa having to interfere. Ezequiel Guipuzkoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Francesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, El Famoso RIFLE's goalkeeper Ezequiel Guipuzkoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristobal Bonifaco. In the 26th minute, Santos Francesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Bonifaco got free with Ezequiel Guipuzkoa in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th match minute, El Famoso RIFLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Celino to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Santos Francesco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfonso Maju might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Piearres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Maju ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfonso Maju blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomás Piearres having to make a save. 44 minutes into the match, F.C. La Tenes Adentro's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Maju came free, but Tomás Piearres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santos Francesco was the one to do the kick off. Arnulfo Aureo charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnulfo Aureo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd match minute, F.C. La Tenes Adentro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Aureo to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, F.C. La Tenes Adentro's Tomás Piearres got control of the ball when Alfonso Maju tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santos Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santos Francesco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute, Santos Francesco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. La Tenes Adentro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Alfonso Maju received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Tomás Piearres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
