Paunero AFC's Alfonso Chesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Francesco in the 33rd minute of play. Cristobal Bonifaco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Chesus having to interfere. If Santos Francesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Alfonso Chesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristobal Bonifaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jairo Basajaun was the one to do the kick off. Tomás Piearres was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Jairo Basajaun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jairo Basajaun really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 66th minute, Cristobal Bonifaco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chants of Paunero AFC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as F.C. La Tenes Adentro had held the ball for most of the match.
