The audience thought a goal was coming when Octavio Duarte got free with Arnoldo Ralondo in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnoldo Ralondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Constancio, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 24th minute, Nicanor Urki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gogo Cugat fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tulumba's protests and gave Gogo Cugat a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tulumba getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Gogo Cugat hit a great ball. Agustin Rocendo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 30th minute Victorino Tiadoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Ralondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Duarte struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Arnoldo Ralondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colo sos de la B. Gogo Cugat hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Arnoldo Ralondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Constancio in the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a defensive mix-up in Tulumba's zone, Faustino Constancio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Ralondo came out of the goal and Faustino Constancio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnoldo Ralondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 60th minute, Faustino Constancio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnoldo Ralondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Colo sos de la B booed when Tulumba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Cordairo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
