Paunero AFC's Vladimiro Llorenc couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for El Famoso RIFLE. A collision led to El Famoso RIFLE getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Generoso Nikola hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, El Famoso RIFLE's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Basajaun came free, but Ezequiel Guipuzkoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Gonsalve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Chesus having to interfere. Alfonso Maju in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alfonso Chesus, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Arturo Gonsalve managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Famoso RIFLE's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Gonsalve was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Chesus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Arturo Gonsalve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Paunero AFC booed when El Famoso RIFLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Txomin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paunero AFC's Jairo Basajaun got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 36 minutes, Elpidio Inge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paunero AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elpidio Inge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ezequiel Guipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Basajaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Jairo Basajaun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Paunero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Gonsalve came free, but Alfonso Chesus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Arturo Gonsalve got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jairo Basajaun was the one to do the kick off. El Famoso RIFLE were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Paunero AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonardo Celino took the corner. Leonardo Celino made a great header on El Famoso RIFLE's corner, it was just that Paunero AFC's Alfonso Chesus managed to reach the ball for a save. Arturo Gonsalve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Alfonso Chesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Basajaun in the 77th minute of play forced El Famoso RIFLE's goalkeeper Ezequiel Guipuzkoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Jairo Basajaun fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ezequiel Guipuzkoa, passed just outside the right post. If Jairo Basajaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 98 minutes into the game, Paunero AFC's Elpidio Inge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ezequiel Guipuzkoa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match was over Paunero AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Famoso RIFLE throughout the match.
