The crowd rose to their feet as Quetrequile's Patricio Urtungo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eduardo Abalos. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Elpidio Ibañez hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Robustiano Donio put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gabriel Checa. In the 22nd minute, Robustiano Donio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quetrequile's Gabriel Checa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Vachon in the 23rd minute of play. San Telmo's Robustiano Donio got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elpidio Ibañez hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. A collision led to Quetrequile getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Elpidio Ibañez hit a great ball. Santiago Vachon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gabriel Checa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Abalos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Paez went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Quetrequile getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Pedro Estebe hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Tobias Sidoro put in a rough tackle. Robustiano Donio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robustiano Donio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 72 minutes, Santiago Vachon made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Quetrequile's Gabriel Checa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Robustiano Donio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Santiago Vachon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Checa having to interfere. Damian Bonadona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gabriel Checa. Quetrequile's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Santiago Vachon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 played minutes Quetrequile got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Sabino. San Telmo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
