With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Urtungo in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteve Barto saved Club Atlético Belgrano from getting behind. 18 minutes into the game, Venancio Lawrence was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Belgrano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quetrequile the free kick. In the 18th minute, Venancio Lawrence hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Vito couldn't finish the play. If Rigoberto Paez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Barto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Urtungo in the 40th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Quetrequile got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Leobardo. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Club Atlético Belgrano's Esteve Barto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Urtungo in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Quetrequile getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Agustin Kinsen hit a great ball. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Belgrano's goalkeeper Esteve Barto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the game, one of Club Atlético Belgrano:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Quetrequile getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Elpidio Ibañez hit a great ball. Patricio Urtungo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Paez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Esteve Barto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Club Atlético Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Toli. The supporters of Club Atlético Belgrano booed when Quetrequile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Leobardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Checa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Vito in the 83rd minute. Esteve Barto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Paez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee ignored Club Atlético Belgrano's protests and gave Anibal Perfecto a yellow card for diving instead. Anibal Perfecto kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Patricio Urtungo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Esteve Barto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Vito got free with Gabriel Checa in the 100th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
