Alonzo Barrionuevo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Wilson Severino notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Deportivo Larsenal's Alonzo Barrionuevo. Alonzo Barrionuevo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Chuña AFC booed when Deportivo Larsenal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Erramu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelino Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Barrionuevo having to interfere. Enzo Valentine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Deportivo Larsenal's Enzo Valentine dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 36thth minute of the game Wilson Severino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Larsenal's Alonzo Barrionuevo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Generoso Igon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alonzo Barrionuevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Chico, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Wilson Severino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Alonzo Barrionuevo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Deportivo Larsenal getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Albino Isias hit a great ball. If Marcelino Chico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Gilabert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Igon in the 68th minute of play. Marcelino Chico took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alonzo Barrionuevo. Alonzo Barrionuevo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Alonzo Barrionuevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Chico, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Deportivo Larsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Chico came free, but Alonzo Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Wilson Severino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alonzo Barrionuevo. Deportivo Larsenal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilson Severino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Larsenal's zone, Marcelino Chico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Barrionuevo came out of the goal and Marcelino Chico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelino Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Barrionuevo having to interfere. Chuña AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
