Generoso Igon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Abeitia having to interfere. Enzo Valentine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Bernardo Abeitia made a huge save. Bernardo Abeitia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Igon in the 29th minute of play. Club Atlético Olympia's Bernardo Abeitia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Igon in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Generoso Igon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Alberto Luix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 56th match minute, Deportivo Larsenal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Valentine to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Olympia defense, Enzo Valentine kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Abeitia. Generoso Igon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bernardo Abeitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Enzo Valentine came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Deportivo Larsenal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Valentine couldn't finish the play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
