Victoriano Gilabert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Igor Abadia having to make a save. In the 16th match minute, Gas Pimienta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Maxin to maneuver through the defense. Victoriano Gilaberts short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Igor Abadia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Victoriano Gilabert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Igor Abadia made a huge save. Gas Pimienta's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emiliano Illan 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Gas Pimienta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victoriano Gilabert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 32 minutes, Artemio Cuartio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gas Pimienta and the MC5 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Artemio Cuartio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Gas Pimienta's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emiliano Illan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of MC5 booed when Gas Pimienta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Cuartio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Danilo Veremundo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex Qvarnström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Victoriano Gilabert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Abadia was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 63rd minute, Victoriano Gilabert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MC5 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Gas Pimienta's Arnulfo Francis got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danilo Veremundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th match minute, MC5 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Velasco to maneuver through the defense. Alex Qvarnström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Francis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victoriano Gilabert in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Abadia saved Gas Pimienta from getting behind. The supporters of MC5 booed when Gas Pimienta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Cuartio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rdth minute of the game 김 명 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gas Pimienta's Igor Abadia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
