The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Severino Raymundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Tino kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Claudio Elija received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Igor Abadia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arnulfo Francis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Veremundo in the 20th minute of play forced MilTinchi's goalkeeper Pedro Christobal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingos Erlantz hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Claudio Elija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Igor Abadia was a little too slow when Severino Raymundo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Danilo Veremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Raymundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Elija scored 2-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Abadia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 58th minute, Arnulfo Francis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st match minute, MilTinchi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Erlantz to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Pacifico, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 67 minutes into the match, MilTinchi's goalkeeper Pedro Christobal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danilo Veremundo. Benito Aguilera's late challenge caught a Gas Pimienta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benito Aguilera helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes MilTinchi got a freekick which was hit by Benito Aguilera. 74 minutes into the match, Claudio Elija had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Igor Abadia. Gas Pimienta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Elija was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Igor Abadia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Elija, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Severino Raymundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MilTinchi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Severino Raymundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in MilTinchi's zone, Danilo Veremundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Christobal came out of the goal and Danilo Veremundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Gas Pimienta's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Raymundo came free, but Igor Abadia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Christobal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Veremundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gas Pimienta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MilTinchi.
