In the 29th minute, Ruben Tonio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Lorien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gaston Henric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damaso Mikolas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Henric having to interfere. Garuhapé AFC's Edgard Gonsalvo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Sandaili having to interfere. Gaston Henric took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Mikolas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston Henric showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Frantzes, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Ricardo Tartalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgard Gonsalvo scored 2-4 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tadeo Sandaili, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricardo Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Sandaili having to interfere. If Donato Lorien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Garuhapé AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Garuhapé AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
