Cornelio Frasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Txindoki having to interfere. Roberto Ler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Criston, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, LoS CaRaSuCiaS's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Criston came free, but Roberto Ler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1-1 became the score in the 28th minute when Cristobal Bero elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Deportivo Millonario booed when LoS CaRaSuCiaS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Frascos short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Serafin Txindoki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Millonario's goalkeeper Serafin Txindoki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

After 51 played minutes LoS CaRaSuCiaS got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Berasko. Maximiliano Niva got in the 53rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Roberto Ler handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Serafin Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Bero in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Deportivo Millonario's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Frasco came free, but Serafin Txindoki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Ler made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Maximiliano Niva sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to LoS CaRaSuCiaS getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Constantino Miliano hit a great ball. Cornelio Frasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1-2 became the score in the 87th minute when Julian Criston elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Maximiliano Niva struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Roberto Ler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Millonario. Julian Criston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Roberto Ler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Deportivo Millonario walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
