In the 6th minute Eugenio Fernanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Odon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Feliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Maiorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 12 played minutes LAPRIDA got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Ulizes. LAPRIDA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Benigno Tipi scored to the left of an out of position Salvador Odon, making the score, 1-0. Salvador Odon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Tipi in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Benigno Tipi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Odon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Avellaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pelongo's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Mingo came free, but Norberto Feliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Salvador Odon managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Deportivo Pelongo's Benigno Tipi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 31st minute, Camilo Avellaneda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Salvador Odon. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 37thth minute of the game Benigno Tipi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LAPRIDA's Salvador Odon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Camilo Avellaneda scored 3-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salvador Odon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Salvador Odon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Tipi in the 44th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Salvador Odon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Maiorga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, LAPRIDA's Julian Maiorga got a free kick in the 51st minute. If Benigno Tipi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benigno Tipi might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salvador Odon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benigno Tipi ran back to his position shaking his head. Salvador Odon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Tipi in the 65th minute of the match. After 66 minutes of play, Deportivo Pelongo's Benigno Tipi made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. LAPRIDA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Benigno Tipi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salvador Odon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Camilo Avellaneda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benigno Tipi in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salvador Odon saved LAPRIDA from getting behind. Eugenio Fernanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Salvador Odon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in LAPRIDA's zone, Benigno Tipi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Odon came out of the goal and Benigno Tipi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erubiel Lluis hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Salvador Odon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Tipi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LAPRIDA's Salvador Odon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Fernanco in the 92nd minute of play. Benigno Tipi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Salvador Odon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
