Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benigno Tipi in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustacio Emesto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Eustacio Emesto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 13th minute German Berenguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Feliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Tipi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Eustacio Emesto 14 minutes into the match. When Benigno Tipi came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Deportivo Pelongo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Tipi couldn't finish the play. Camilo Avellaneda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Emesto having to interfere. After 28 played minutes 11 De Septiembre got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Benat. When Benigno Tipi came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Deportivo Pelongo fans jumped to their feet. With his leg Eustacio Emesto managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Deportivo Pelongo's Benigno Tipi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Deportivo Pelongo's Benigno Tipi got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 De Septiembre's Eustacio Emesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Tipi in the 41st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Benigno Tipi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Pelongo's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Tipi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustacio Emesto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Cirilo Chorche made the kick off in the second half. Benigno Tipi scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eustacio Emesto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucas Cuadrado hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Camilo Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Berenguer hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 65 played minutes, Deportivo Pelongo's Dario Iago shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eustacio Emesto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Pelongo reached it. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Benigno Tipi sped through 11 De Septiembre's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eustacio Emesto. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pelongo's Camilo Avellaneda got a free kick in the 69th minute. Benigno Tipi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camilo Avellaneda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Emesto having to interfere. In the 76th minute Cirilo Chorche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Feliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to 11 De Septiembre getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Cirilo Chorche hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes 11 De Septiembre got a freekick which was hit by German Berenguer. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Benigno Tipi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Pelongo's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Tipi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
