Florencio Oton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Fresco went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Luis Heli's late challenge caught a Oliva FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Heli helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Oliva FC booed when Unione Sportiva Lecce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Heli didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alejo Eli fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oliva FC's protests and gave Alejo Eli a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Unione Sportiva Lecce booed when Oliva FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Eli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliva FC's Florencio Oton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Endira in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Carlos Fresco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unione Sportiva Lecce's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Fresco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Oton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciro Endira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Oton having to interfere. If Carlos Fresco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Oliva FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Baudelio to maneuver through the defense. Jose Bihar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Mateo in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Ciro Endira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unione Sportiva Lecce fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 35 played minutes Remigio Mateo rounded Unione Sportiva Lecce's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florencio Oton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Oliva FC! The referee gave Unione Sportiva Lecce a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tobias Jerardo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Oliva FC's Florencio Oton. 1-3. If Carlos Fresco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Ciro Endira took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Florencio Oton to make any attempt to save it. Florencio Oton acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 76th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ariel Oihan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Aires in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Bihar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute, Carlos Fresco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Samuel Aires notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Unione Sportiva Lecce's Jose Bihar. Jose Bihar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Fausto Goi fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unione Sportiva Lecce's protests and gave Fausto Goi a yellow card for diving instead. Alejo Eli kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Carlos Fresco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Florencio Oton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Oliva FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Unione Sportiva Lecce were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
