Saul Urtungo's late challenge caught a Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saul Urtungo helped the player get up and apologised. Jonas Mingo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Fausto Liberto struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Salvador Odon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi. Toninho Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Mingo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Salvador Odon made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Fausto Liberto sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the game, Jonas Mingo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LAPRIDA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi the free kick. Jonas Mingo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Leonel Satordi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fausto Liberto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Salvador Odon made a huge save. Leonel Satordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonel Satordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Odon having to interfere. When Genaro Orlin came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genaro Orlin couldn't finish the play. If Fausto Liberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Satordi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Salvador Odon made a huge save. Leonel Satordi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Salvador Odon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 47 played minutes Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Juvenal.

In the 63rd minute, Serafin Ulizes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Satordi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Salvador Odon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Leonel Satordi sped through LAPRIDA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Salvador Odon. After 71 minutes, Luciano Jerardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LAPRIDA and the Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi booed when LAPRIDA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Jerardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes, Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi's Pablo Claus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Salvador Odon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi reached it. Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi's Fausto Liberto got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 77 played minutes LAPRIDA got a freekick which was hit by Saul Urtungo. Salvador Odon came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi's Fausto Liberto. But to his dismay, Fausto Liberto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Satordi in the 85th minute of play forced LAPRIDA's goalkeeper Salvador Odon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Liberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvador Odon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Liberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi were the better team. Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
