Bocaaa's Tito Manni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Satordi in the 16th minute of play. When Teodoro Danel fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi's protests and gave Teodoro Danel a yellow card for diving instead. Teodoro Danel kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Gavino Iliana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bocaaa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi the free kick. A collision led to Bocaaa getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gavino Iliana hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi's Pablo Claus broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 32 minutes, Arsenio Elizardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bocaaa and the Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Bocaaa got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Harri. In the 36th minute, Fausto Liberto made a precise shot to the right of Tito Manni. Bocaaa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Lázaro Quinton received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Toninho Cerezo came out and tried to block the shot, but Lázaro Quinton slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 41st minute. Gavino Iliana hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lázaro Quinton was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Bocaaa getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ramon Hanot hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Liberto got free with Tito Manni in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi's Pablo Claus was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tito Manni in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 62nd match minute, Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Juvenal to maneuver through the defense. Toninho Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Quinton in the 67th minute of the match. Luisito Manex's late challenge caught a Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luisito Manex helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Luisito Manex hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodoro Danel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tito Manni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Quinton in the 81st minute of play forced Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi's goalkeeper Toninho Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute of the match, Leonel Satordi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tito Manni saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. During the 85th minute of the match Gavino Iliana completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gavino Iliana a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 86th minute, Gavino Iliana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Liberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tito Manni having to interfere. Fausto Liberto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Tito Manni made a huge save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Bocaaa were victorious despite being under pressure from Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi for much of the match.
