Generoso Bermund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Rivas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernabe Charro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Matai having to interfere. Bernabe Charro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Modesto Matai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eustacio Tximitx hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Gogo Rivas's late challenge caught a Parche Celeste's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gogo Rivas helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes Hilario got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Rivas. 37 minutes into the game, Bernabe Charro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Modesto Matai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hilario's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ceferino Gipuzkoa 47 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ceferino Gipuzkoa was the one to do the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Hilario's Nereo Rivas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Generoso Bermund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Modesto Matai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Charro in the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Hilario's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Gipuzkoa came free, but Modesto Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Israel Justin charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Israel Justin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
