Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonatan Ferdinand started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Barcala's zone, Cirilo Cordarell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Koldobika came out of the goal and Cirilo Cordarell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 26 minutes, Aureliano Tabor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fortune Chaser and the Barcala players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Fortune Chaser was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Tabor to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the game, Jorge Guillelmus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fortune Chaser's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barcala the free kick. After having played for 30 minutes, Jonatan Ferdinand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Ferdinand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Barcala's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Cordarell came free, but Jesus Koldobika reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Lia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Koldobika having to interfere. Jesus Koldobika showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Lia, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Jesus Koldobika didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Lia went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 43rd match minute, Fortune Chaser was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Tabor to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Barcala's Camilo Mancio got a free kick in the 47th minute.
The wind increased when Cirilo Cordarell made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Ciro Lia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Koldobika saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Ciro Lia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesus Koldobika. Barcala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciro Lia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 60th minute of the match Jorge Esdras shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jesus Koldobika showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cirilo Cordarell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jesus Koldobika tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Lia struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Jesus Koldobika didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fortune Chaser. Fortune Chaser's Ciro Lia got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Lia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Jesus Koldobika made a huge save. Jesus Koldobika showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Cordarell, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Fernando Txomin kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Jesus Koldobika acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 79th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jorge Esdras. During the 81st minute of the match Jorge Guillelmus completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jorge Guillelmus a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Barcala booed when Fortune Chaser was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Arano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciro Lia struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Jesus Koldobika didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fortune Chaser. Melquiades Arano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Lia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Fortune Chaser left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Barcala.
