After having played for 19 minutes, Anier Vasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Singapur FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anier Vasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Vasco in the 21st minute of play forced Vegeta FC's goalkeeper Laureano Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Arsenio Jacob almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Singapur FC's Cristobal Ihazintu did a great save. Ruperto Joachim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Cristobal Ihazintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucio Rodriguez charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucio Rodriguez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucio Rodriguez hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Singapur FC's zone, Timoteo Laurgain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristobal Ihazintu came out of the goal and Timoteo Laurgain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vegeta FC's Timoteo Laurgain slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristobal Ihazintu. That made the score 2-0 after 39 minutes of play. In the 41st match minute, Vegeta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Gartzen to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urbano Galeno in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laureano Urtats prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timoteo Laurgain made a kick off. Vegeta FC's Ruperto Joachim got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Singapur FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Ihazintu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Ruperto Joachim put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cristobal Ihazintu. 66 minutes into the game, Singapur FC's Nunez Ciano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laureano Urtats made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 69thth minute of the game Anier Vasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vegeta FC's Laureano Urtats was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laureano Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Vasco in the 74th minute of play. Ruperto Joachim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Ihazintu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Joachim in the 81st minute of play forced Singapur FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Ihazintu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norberto Sayveon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristobal Ihazintu. Singapur FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Laureano Urtats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anier Vasco in the 84th minute. Laureano Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Vasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Cristobal Ihazintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Joachim in the 93rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle.
