The Colombres fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 19 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Kelemen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicanor Ubarna. Bonifacio Kelemen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After having played for 22 minutes, Bonifacio Kelemen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tafí AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Kelemen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tafí AFC's Alberto Virila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Llorenc in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Rolando Llorenc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Virila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicanor Ubarna came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Tafí AFC's Froilan Oriche. But to his dismay, Froilan Oriche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 42 minutes into the match, Colombres's Rolando Llorenc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Virila narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bonifacio Kelemen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Colombres booed when Tafí AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Natanael didn't get a good kick on the ball. 2-2 became the score in the 57th minute when Rolando Llorenc elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 64 minutes of play, Colombres's Rolando Llorenc made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Kelemen in the 73rd minute of play forced Colombres's goalkeeper Nicanor Ubarna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Tafí AFC's Froilan Oriche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicanor Ubarna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Froilan Oriche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Colombres walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
