Arsenio Sesuldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Emmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Santo Raymond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Cordarin in the 13th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prudencio Celio got free with Santo Raymond in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jeronimo Lleir fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DiablosRojos F.C's protests and gave Jeronimo Lleir a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to DiablosRojos F.C getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jeronimo Lleir hit a great ball. Haroldo Amato hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. DiablosRojos F.C's Santo Raymond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Cordarin in the 41st minute of play. Arsenio Sesuldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Emmanuel in the 43rd minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Celso Emmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DiablosRojos F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Emmanuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ulises Cordarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santo Raymond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Cordarin in the 56th minute of the match. Prudencio Celio struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Santo Raymond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A River Plate. When DiablosRojos F.C's Celso Emmanuel in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A River Plate's goalie prevented a goal. Ulises Cordarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulises Cordarin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santo Raymond having to make a save. Celso Emmanuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Sesuldo having to interfere. Arsenio Sesuldo had great luck who in the 77thth minute grab hold of the ball when Celso Emmanuel from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The supporters of DiablosRojos F.C booed when C.A River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Joey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Ismael Javiero could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Arsenio Sesuldo however easily saved by the left post. If Prudencio Celio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leonardo Gauargi hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Ulises Cordarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of DiablosRojos F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A River Plate:s goal. Primitivo Rolado shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C.A River Plate fans cheered their team off the field, for while DiablosRojos F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
