But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Maule couldn't finish the play. In the 16th match minute, DiablosRojos F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Gauargi to maneuver through the defense. After 24 minutes, Antonio Ferman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Otto y Cata and the DiablosRojos F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Otto y Cata getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Antonio Ferman hit a great ball. In the 25th minute of the match Dalmacio Florin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domingos Jaizki skillfully saved the ball. DiablosRojos F.C's Ricardo Rameriz suffered a sore thigh after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Mauricio Quinito's late challenge caught a DiablosRojos F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauricio Quinito helped the player get up and apologised. Mauricio Quinito hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Mauricio Quinito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Santo Raymond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Javiero took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingos Jaizki. Santo Raymond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Maule, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The Otto y Cata players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. DiablosRojos F.C were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Maule was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Haroldo Amato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauricio Quinito struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Santo Raymond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otto y Cata. DiablosRojos F.C's Santo Raymond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Quinito in the 69th minute of play. Ismael Javieros short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Domingos Jaizki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 74th minute Eduardo Maule shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Raymond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DiablosRojos F.C's Santo Raymond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Quinito in the 78th minute of play. Santo Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Roldan in the 80th minute of play. Santo Raymond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Maule, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. DiablosRojos F.C's Ismael Javiero pulled a muscle in his leg after 83 minutes and couldn't finish the game. During the 83rd minute of the match Antonio Ferman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Antonio Ferman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Mauricio Quinito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched DiablosRojos F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
