Benito Ranolfo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Arturo Asteri made a huge save. After 23 minutes, Benigno Blasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sol de America and the Moscovi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Sol de America:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Moscovi:s goal. Moscovi's Arturo Asteri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Conrao in the 29th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Lorenzo Abaunza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sol de America and the Moscovi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Moscovi booed when Sol de America was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Abaunza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Ranolfo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arturo Asteri having to make a save. Evelio Laurentzi scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Fe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Evelio Laurentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evelio Laurentzi in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Fe saved Sol de America from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Conrao stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Sol de America's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Demario came free, but Armando Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sol de America's Armando Fe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Demario in the 58th minute of play. Arturo Asteri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ismael Conrao's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Conrao in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Asteri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Demario in the 75th minute of play forced Sol de America's goalkeeper Armando Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Jeronimo Demario fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Armando Fe, passed just outside the right post. Jeronimo Demario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jairo Panfilo kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Armando Fe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Demario in the 89th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Sol de America's goalkeeper Armando Fe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evelio Laurentzi. After 93 minutes, Jaime Roano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moscovi and the Sol de America players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes Moscovi got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Roano. If Jeronimo Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Christian Nuno came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the Moscovi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Nuno couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Moscovi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
