Israel Jericos short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Jonatan Gaur to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 12 minutes into the match, Club Atlético La Plata's Israel Jerico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonatan Gaur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute Timoteo Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Geleberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timoteo Francis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Geleberto having to interfere. Jimeno Dimo took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonatan Gaur. Jonatan Gaur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nestor Amaya made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Luken in the 52nd minute of play forced Las Heras F.C's goalkeeper Jonatan Gaur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute Nestor Amaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Gaur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Jordy struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Jonatan Gaur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético La Plata. After a defensive mix-up in Las Heras F.C's zone, Nestor Amaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Gaur came out of the goal and Nestor Amaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético La Plata's Remigio Quiroga got a free kick in the 70th minute. Las Heras F.C's Timoteo Francis got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nestor Amaya might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonatan Gaur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Amaya ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonatan Gaur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Amaya in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Amaya in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonatan Gaur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Israel Jerico sped through Las Heras F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonatan Gaur. Jonatan Gaur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Luken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Las Heras F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Amaya came free, but Jonatan Gaur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Nestor Amaya made a precise shot to the right of Jonatan Gaur. Las Heras F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Club Atlético La Plata's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
