UNION ROSARIO's Silvio Resto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Caradaro in the 3rd minute of play. Hugo Navarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Silvio Resto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Hugo Navarro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Silvio Resto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. UNION ROSARIO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joaquin Cedro in the 18th minute. The corner led UNION ROSARIO's Joaquin Cedro to fire away a dangerous shot which Swen Da Cruz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Silvio Resto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Caradaro in the 19th minute of the match. Baltasar Iruinea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Baltasar Iruinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Resto having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Holy Light was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Regis to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in UNION ROSARIO's zone, Fabio Regis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Resto came out of the goal and Fabio Regis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Holy Light's Hugo Navarro in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UNION ROSARIO's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Hugo Navarro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holy Light's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Navarro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Holy Light players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. UNION ROSARIO were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantino Boni to make the kick off. Silvio Resto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvio Resto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Iruinea in the 54th minute of play. Swen Da Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquin Cedro in the 58th minute. Baltasar Iruinea struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Silvio Resto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holy Light. When Holy Light's Baltasar Iruinea in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UNION ROSARIO's goalie prevented a goal. 67 minutes into the match, Hugo Navarro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvio Resto. UNION ROSARIO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Navarro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Constantino Boni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes UNION ROSARIO got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Refugio. Silvio Resto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Holy Light's Hugo Navarro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Baltasar Iruinea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltasar Iruinea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Silvio Resto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Holy Light players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
