In the 19th minute Delmar Gabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Swen Da Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Navarro in the 20th minute of play forced A. A. Iron Maiden's goalkeeper Leonardo Iyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Baltasar Iruinea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hugo Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Holy Light's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Joseph came free, but Swen Da Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Delmar Gabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Joseph might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Swen Da Cruz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Joseph ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd match minute, Holy Light was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Regis to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute of the match Silvio Beturian sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Swen Da Cruz skillfully saved the ball. Hugo Navarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Hugo Navarro made the kick off in the second half. Baltasar Iruinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Iyan having to interfere. Leon Caradaro kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Silvio Beturian shot from long distance in the 63rd minute, but Swen Da Cruz was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Hugo Navarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Navarro in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Iyan saved A. A. Iron Maiden from getting behind. Leon Caradaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Holy Light's Baltasar Iruinea got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramiro Balendin hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Silvio Beturian kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Baltasar Iruinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Iyan having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Ramiro Balendin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carolo Abeitia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonardo Iyan. A. A. Iron Maiden's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Baltasar Iruinea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Holy Light's Hugo Navarro got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the game, Hugo Navarro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Leonardo Iyan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Holy Light were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
