TalleresDeC3A's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 24th minute Rigoberto Rafel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Flink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cortadera's Hernan Diegotxe got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrian Bemabe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Herensuge in the 27th minute of the match. Daniel Silvanito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torsten Flink read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Clemente Herensuge's late challenge caught a TalleresDeC3A's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Herensuge helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rigoberto Rafel in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torsten Flink prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of TalleresDeC3A booed when Cortadera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Euloxu didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemente Herensuge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Herminio Euloxu hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Hernan Diegotxe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adrian Bemabe firmly grabbed it by the left post. 77 minutes into the game, TalleresDeC3A's Daniel Silvanito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
