Leonardo Iyan came out of the goal and Filiberto Burni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nicanor Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmar Gabon struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Anastasio Silban didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A. A. Iron Maiden. In the 31st minute Ernesto Joseph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Silban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Beturian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anastasio Silban. the aguilas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Filiberto Burni managed to get in a good position for a shot. the aguilas's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiberto Burni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Iyan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the game, A. A. Iron Maiden's Ernesto Joseph nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anastasio Silban made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Anastasio Silban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Joseph, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Delmar Gabons short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Anastasio Silban to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 72 played minutes the aguilas got a freekick which was hit by Justino Arnau. After a defensive mix-up in the aguilas's zone, Silvio Beturian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Silban came out of the goal and Silvio Beturian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Joseph recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernesto Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Silban having to interfere. Anastasio Silban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Cloyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 played minutes the aguilas got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Peruanton. A. A. Iron Maiden's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
