After 16 minutes, Gervasio Gipuzkoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mulcahy FC and the A. A. Iron Maiden players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, A. A. Iron Maiden's Silvio Beturian got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Angel Alfonso. After a rather tough play, A. A. Leonardo Iyan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustino Vasco's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Mulcahy FC's Angel Alfonso got control of the ball when Ramiro Balendin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonardo Iyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Vasco in the 36th minute of play. Leonardo Iyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Sidro in the 37th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustino Vasco in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Iyan saved A. A. Iron Maiden from getting behind. 40 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Cloyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A. A. Iron Maiden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mulcahy FC the free kick. A collision led to A. A. Iron Maiden getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Maximiliano Cloyo hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Faustino Vasco made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Iyan. A. A. Iron Maiden's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
Delmar Gabon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Angel Alfonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustino Vasco was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Angel Alfonso came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by A. A. Iron Maiden's Ernesto Joseph. But to his dismay, Ernesto Joseph quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Mulcahy FC's Faustino Vasco was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 65th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Joseph in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Alfonso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Vasco got free with Leonardo Iyan in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But to his dismay, Elvio Sidro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Delmar Gabon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Alfonso having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Joseph in the 93rd minute of play forced Mulcahy FC's goalkeeper Angel Alfonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mulcahy FC booed when A. A. Iron Maiden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Mattin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faustino Vasco spun around in front of the goal 97 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of A. A. Iron Maiden's goal.
