El sol negro's Fausto Merexildo got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raul Estavan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Arlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severo Lastur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Raul Estavan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florencio Lico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Merexildo in the 22nd minute. El sol negro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Roque Santxol made a great header on El sol negro's corner, it was just that Cacharí's Florencio Lico managed to reach the ball for a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cacharí walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
