Genaro Jax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Lico having to interfere. When Anastasio Ritchie fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nequen AFC's protests and gave Anastasio Ritchie a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Nequen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Ritchie. Fabian Orlondon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Arlo in the 13th minute. Efrain Arlo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Fabian Orlondon made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Nequen AFC's Anastasio Ritchie got a free kick in the 19th minute. Nequen AFC's Fabian Orlondon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Lastur in the 22nd minute of play. Efrain Arlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Fabian Orlondon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Cacharí got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Cordara. In the 46th minute, David Onofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 49 minutes Nequen AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arnoldo Abascal who took care of the corner kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dario Abadie to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabian Orlondon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Arlo in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Efrain Arlo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cacharí's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Arlo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Orlondon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
