After a defensive mix-up in Caucete's zone, Vinicio Ganix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Enol came out of the goal and Vinicio Ganix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emiliano Rios took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaston Enol. Gaston Enol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Enzo Ceandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Douglas Haig's Guillermo Quico got a free kick in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Douglas Haig's zone, Alejo Hurko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Berdoi came out of the goal and Alejo Hurko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vinicio Ganix hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the game, Douglas Haig's Emiliano Rios nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaston Enol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 41 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Sanduru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gaston Enol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teobaldo Sanduru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 51st match minute, Caucete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Ceandro to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Jorge Loiola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emiliano Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Alejo Hurko made a precise shot to the right of Simon Berdoi. Douglas Haig's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Caucete's zone, Teobaldo Sanduru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Enol came out of the goal and Teobaldo Sanduru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Teobaldo Sanduru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the match, Caucete's Alejo Hurko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Berdoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Sanduru got free with Gaston Enol in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Caucete fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Douglas Haig were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
