After some careless play in the Knights Templar defense, Genaro Jax kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Banegas. The Knights Templar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Banegas should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciro Fanuco during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nequen AFC's Fabian Orlondon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Jerrold in the 12th minute of play. Fabian Orlondon stood somewhat misplaced when Carmelo Jerrold came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 14 minute. Fabian Orlondon made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Rafael Casomiro sent off a good shot on target. Fabian Orlondon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Jerrold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute David Onofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Banegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Knights Templar's Primitivo Goito got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 36th minute Carmelo Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Orlondon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmelo Jerrold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Nequen AFC's Anastasio Ritchie got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, Rafael Casomiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Dario Abadie made the kick off in the second half. Dario Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Orlondon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Jerrold, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Fabian Orlondon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Casomiro's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Carmelo Jerrold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knights Templar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Jerrold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafael Casomiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Nequen AFC's zone, Rafael Casomiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Orlondon came out of the goal and Rafael Casomiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafael Mannuel charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Mannuel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Carmelo Jerrold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Casomiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dario Abadie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Carmelo Jerrold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Abadie didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rafael Casomiro fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knights Templar's protests and gave Rafael Casomiro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nequen AFC booed when Knights Templar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Casomiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 minutes of play Knights Templar's Rafael Casomiro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Knights Templar getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Rafael Casomiro hit a great ball.
