In the 24th minute, Dario Abadie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Koldo got free with Fabian Orlondon in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 27 played minutes Nequen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Ritchie. Baldomero Galo might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Orlondon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomero Galo ran back to his position shaking his head. After 32 minutes, Baldomero Galo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Herrera and the Nequen AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Herrera's Baldomero Galo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 45th minute of the match Conrado Gorka shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabian Orlondon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Abadie to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Herrera's Baldomero Galo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Orlondon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67thth minute of the game Dario Abadie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herrera's Guillermo Baleren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Flavio Koldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Orlondon. Nequen AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavio Koldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Flavio Koldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Fabian Orlondon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Baldomero Galo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herrera's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Galo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Orlondon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, Herrera's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Abadie came free, but Guillermo Baleren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
