Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Cacharí's zone, Baldomero Galo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Lico came out of the goal and Baldomero Galo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Koldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Florencio Lico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efrain Arlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Guillermo Baleren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute Erubiel Cordara suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to Herrera getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Cristobal Sugar hit a great ball. The referee showed Everardo Felipo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Florencio Lico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Koldo in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomero Galo in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florencio Lico saved Cacharí from getting behind. Florencio Lico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Galo in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Efrain Arlo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Florencio Lico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Galo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Koldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Florencio Lico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Baldomero Galo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Lico made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Flavio Koldo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Herrera booed when Cacharí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Mundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baldomero Galo made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Baldomero Galo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florencio Lico was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Baldomero Galo scored 1-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florencio Lico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baldomero Galo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Lico having to interfere. Teofilo Austin hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Efrain Arlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacharí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efrain Arlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Flavio Koldo came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Herrera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Koldo couldn't finish the play. Guillermo Baleren made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Efrain Arlo sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Herrera getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Flavio Koldo hit a great ball. Herrera's Guillermo Baleren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Herrera from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Herrera's Cristobal Sugar got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Efrain Arlo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herrera's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
