Nicanor Mitxaut yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. 87 minutes into the match, Lanus F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Nabar came free, but Feliberto Izotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Lanus F.C. defense, Isidoro Inguma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliberto Izotz. The Lanus F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliberto Izotz should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute Godofredo Abel suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Emiliano Umea charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emiliano Umea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 91 minutes into the game, one of Lanus F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
