An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Venceslao in the 77th minute of play forced Arminda's goalkeeper Alonzo Checa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, Arminda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Guib to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Inocente shot a long shot in the 82nd minute and a light blocked Alonzo Checa hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 3-1. Rosario Balompié 1889's Arsenio Garoa suffered a sore thigh after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game.
