Spectators: 7113 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Agustin Savier started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arsenio Garoa during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lowrider! booed when Rosario Balompié 1889 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Garoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filomeno Olayo came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosario Balompié 1889's Jesus Venceslao. But to his dismay, Jesus Venceslao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lucio Valerio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Arturo Ovando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filomeno Olayo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Roberto Porfirio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Savier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorato Xabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Porfirio having to interfere. Rosario Balompié 1889's Jesus Venceslao got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filomeno Olayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Ovando in the 32nd minute of play. Honorato Xabel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Roberto Porfirio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Honorato Xabel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roberto Porfirio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Savier in the 38th minute of the match. Agustin Savier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Roberto Porfirio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Honorato Xabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Ovando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes Lowrider! got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Olentzaro. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Jesus Venceslao made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Agustin Savier notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rosario Balompié 1889's Roberto Porfirio. Roberto Porfirio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Filomeno Olayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Venceslao in the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Jesus Venceslao reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Filomeno Olayo. The goal made the score 1-2. Lowrider!'s Agustin Savier got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Honorato Xabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filomeno Olayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Venceslao, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Lowrider!'s Honorato Xabel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Porfirio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Agustin Savier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes Lowrider! got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Inge.
