Rosario Balompié 1889 were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after LA GATA MIMOSA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. In the 94th minute, Vicente Peru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roberto Porfirio. The goal made the score 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rosario Balompié 1889 had won after a very even match.
