Silvio Gartzea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Naldo in the 4th minute of the match. Instituto A.C.C's Osvaldo Mikelar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Silvio Gartzea but with some difficulty. The crowd rose to their feet as Instituto A.C.C's Clodoveo Naldo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silvio Gartzea. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. In the 11th minute, one of Independiente FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Independiente FC. Silvio Gartzea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clodoveo Naldo's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. The supporters of Instituto A.C.C booed when Independiente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Igon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvio Gartzea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Nuñez in the 22nd minute. In the 26th match minute, Instituto A.C.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Naldo to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Naldo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silvio Gartzea, 3-1. A collision led to Instituto A.C.C getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Americo Raymond hit a great ball. Felix Balasi took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Humberto Patrido. Humberto Patrido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felix Balasi to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Independiente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Nuñez came free, but Silvio Gartzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 minutes of play, Instituto A.C.C's Clodoveo Naldo made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvio Gartzea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvio Gartzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After some careless play in the Independiente FC defense, Saturnino Gizon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvio Gartzea. The Independiente FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvio Gartzea should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute Bruno Nuñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Gartzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Gizon in the 63rd minute of play forced Independiente FC's goalkeeper Silvio Gartzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clodoveo Naldo took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvio Gartzea. Silvio Gartzea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. When Rodolfo Igon fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independiente FC's protests and gave Rodolfo Igon a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes Independiente FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Igon. Aldo Patxi didn't quite understand what happened when in the 69 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Naldo in the 71st minute of play forced Independiente FC's goalkeeper Silvio Gartzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Silvio Gartzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Nuñez in the 75th minute of play. Francisco Perez hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the game, Instituto A.C.C's Bruno Nuñez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvio Gartzea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 8-2 when Bruno Nuñez sped through Independiente FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvio Gartzea. In the 87th minute Bruno Nuñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Gartzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saturnino Gizon scored 9-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvio Gartzea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clodoveo Naldo succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 10-2. Instituto A.C.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Independiente FC for a fine match.
