Francisco Peli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Jonathan Fernandes made a huge save. Francisco Peli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Narciso Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pastor Loren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Cordarrel having to interfere. Francisco Peli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Fernandes having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Lidon in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Fernandes saved Avellaneda from getting behind. A collision led to Almafuerte AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Francisco Peli hit a great ball. Narciso Lidon charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narciso Lidon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Avellaneda getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Roberto Libertad hit a great ball. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Almafuerte AFC's goalkeeper Gualterio Cordarrel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benjamin Irrintzi hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Narciso Lidon fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Almafuerte AFC booed when Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Abecia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narciso Lidon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Narciso Lidon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pastor Loren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Gualterio Cordarrel made a huge save. Narciso Lidon struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Jonathan Fernandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almafuerte AFC. When Roberto Libertad came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Avellaneda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Libertad couldn't finish the play. Almafuerte AFC's Gualterio Cordarrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Libertad in the 90th minute of play. Jairo Aritza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gualterio Cordarrel. Almafuerte AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narciso Lidon in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Almafuerte AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
