The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Vinicio Saturnin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Barbosa in the 22nd minute of play forced Almafuerte AFC's goalkeeper Gualterio Cordarrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Narciso Lidon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independiente FC's Silvio Gartzea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Francisco Peli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvio Gartzea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Peli in the 33rd minute of the match. Carolo Barbosa hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Independiente FC's Felix Balasi got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carolo Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Independiente FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Almafuerte AFC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Narciso Lidon made a kick off. Gualterio Cordarrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Balasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Gualterio Cordarrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Balasi in the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Almafuerte AFC's goalkeeper Gualterio Cordarrel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gualterio Cordarrel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Balasi went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Felix Balasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Stanislao in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gualterio Cordarrel saved Almafuerte AFC from getting behind. When Felix Balasi came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Independiente FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Balasi couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Almafuerte AFC's Simon Fresco got a free kick in the 76th minute. Gualterio Cordarrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Balasi in the 79th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Christian Stanislao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gualterio Cordarrel. Almafuerte AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Stanislao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Silvio Gartzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Fresco in the 88th minute of play. Almafuerte AFC's Gualterio Cordarrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Balasi in the 90th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Felix Balasi put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gualterio Cordarrel. Silvio Gartzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Fresco, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
